This benchtop vibration exciter offers versatility and dependability for a range of applications, including mechanical impedance and mobility measurements and accelerometer calibration.

Type 4809 features a wide frequency range (10 Hz – 20 kHz) and a continuous displacement of 8 mm (0.32 in) peak-to-peak. It can impart 45 N (10 lbf) of sine force – or up to 60 N (13.5 lbf) with assisted cooling.

Our 75 VA Power Amplifier Type 2718 has been designed specifically to drive this vibration exciter; however, Type 4809 can also be powered without forced-air cooling by any third-party amplifier with the adequate voltage rating.

To meet your exact testing needs, Type 4809 can be customized with a range of accessories, including trunnions, power amplifiers, nylon stingers and push-pull rods, force transducers and impedance heads.
