This is a minor release of Perception. Due to the fixes, please download the release instead of older Perception versions.

Note:
When moving between versions above and below 8.28, installing version 8.28 on the mainframe is mandatory before continuing.

  • Upgrading: If upgrading from a version below 8.28 to a version above 8.28, you must first install 8.28 on the mainframe and then proceed to the target version.
  • Downgrading: If downgrading from a version above 8.28 to a version below 8.28, you must also first install 8.28 on the mainframe before installing the desired lower version.

Perception 8.94​

This is a minor release of Perception. Due to the fixes, please download the release instead of older Perception versions.

  • Spectrogram Display introduced
  • Channel selection available in “Save a Copy as”

 

New Features in e-Power Suite:

  • Hiding setpoints in a setpoint map

 

New Support of Hardware:

  • Analog Output support for GN1202B via ISOBE5600r
  • Added CTT50ID, CTT100ID, CTT200ID & CN1000ID to formula database

  • 11 reported bugs were fixed

  • Option to reduce short multi sweep recording file size​
  • CT Power monitoring for Remote Probes​

 

New Features in e-Power Suite:​

  • Differential setpoint maps​
  • Motor offset angle routine​
  • Support of Matlab runtime version 2024b​

 

New Support of Hardware:​

  • Real-time calculations with 2 MS/s sample rate with 4 remote probes connected to one GN800B​

  • 10 reported bugs were fixed

Perception 8.28

This is an minor release of Perception mainly improving stability, fixing known problems and adding minor new features.

This is not shipped out with the hardware but only available via web download.

Details about fixed issues and new features can be found in the release notes.

Note: Perception includes the instruments firmware for GEN DAQ systems. So there is no separate firmware available for GEN DAQ systems.

When you connect to hardware using a new version of Perception, the firmware in the hardware will be upgraded accordingly to the same release level.
